and I went fishing yesterday morning- as usual-took my bus and get off at Huanchaco market to buy some bait :: Maruchas (Donax peruvianus) and then headed to the Huanchaco municipality offices to ask for more info about the longboard international event … but couldnt  find useful answers from the employees …so I headed to the pier but  couldnt enter cause it was under maintenace (cleaning) so I had to wait for 1 hour aprox… then I spent hours fishing and could only catch a Cabinza fish…on my way back home I stopped at the municipality of Huanchaco again and I went directly to the institutional image department and asked again for further info about the event and finally got it…  

I returned home in Trujillo,had lunch,took a nap,shower and then talked to my daughter about her new laptop functions…she was happy about it…

Invited my daughter to join me on my way back to Huanchaco to film the Augurio (Omen) evening event but she didnt want to…so I went on my own…by bus of course.

It was great , I interviewed the Shaman and filmmed the offering ritual …Huanchaco authorities want to have a great longboard event … they asked the shaman to do some offerings to the sea and earth so the event could have a great deal..

after that I headed to the bus stop but there were no one … I was late for buses so bought a cigie-0. 20 nuevos soles cents…the last bus was gone..and then I didnt know how to get back home in Trujillo…I was thinking about taking a taxi )expensive way) ..or call my friend to spend the night at his Huanchaco house when all of a sudden a Combi (minivan-used as public transportation in Peru) came out from nowhere .. I took it and paid 1.5 nuevos soles again…and the combi boy told me to get off at UNT bus stop and take another bus to get to my mom´s flat…I did it and arrived home for dinner …ma daughter was still there so I had the chance to hug her and told her I care and luv her very much… then her mom picked her up and they went to their house… I started to get on internet and post news for my fellow followers in tweeter,twitwall,facebook and youtube …but I was so tired that I felt asleep while I was typing this note…then I woke up around 6:00am and finished it..

summarizing I just spent around 1.5 USDollar to cover the AUGURIO event in Huanchaco..but risky of course  I could easily get mugged and lose my videocamera…

now it is 6:00 am -Tuesday ,Jan 26,2010 … getting ready for breakfast and thinking about heading to Huanchaco for fishing or staying home…but something that is for sure ::: I will be at Huanchaco beach this evening again to film the folk dance groups performance at the pier at 7:00pm (los negritos de Catambla and the diablos of Huanchaco)…
